Just Childcare Welcomes Playdays Nursery Blackrod!

We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Playdays Nursery Blackrod to the Just Childcare family!

With wonderful outdoor facilities and an amazing team of childcare practitioners, Playdays Nursery is going to fit right in with our family. The setting has an established and well-loved team, who we can’t wait to work alongside!

Playdays has an absolutely fantastic reputation the Bolton area. The nursery is Ofsted ‘Outstanding’  and is known for providing an exceptional service to its community.

Blackrod is a wonderful location, situated just between two of our nurseries in Atherton and Chorley. Set within the extensively refurbished Old Grammar School building, our newest setting provides a stimulating environment whilst maintaining much of the old building’s character.

The property was built in 1799 and has a fantastic acre of land which has been landscaped to create a large outdoor learning environment. Ofsted said of the outdoor area, “The nursery provides inspiring outdoor play experiences which give children opportunities to take reasonable risk in their play, with careful supervision.
