At Park Wood Nursery in Bidston, we believe that learning should be fun!

That’s why we’ve created a place where children can have lots of fun while they learn. We make sure our activities are based on what each child likes and is interested in. Our team is totally committed to making sure that every child has an exciting experience every day, so they can become happy and confident little learners!

Our nursery and pre-school are beautiful and have bright playrooms full of amazing resources. We’ve worked really hard to make sure that every child feels at home and can access a wide range of learning opportunities with the help of our fantastic nursery practitioners.

What makes us different from other nurseries is our Forest School. Spending time in nature is a great way for children to learn and develop in many different ways. Children love exploring Park Wood’s exciting outdoor areas, sensory garden, pretend campfire, construction area and planting areas.

We actively encourage getting out and about, with children regularly visiting the local community farm and enjoying walks of discovery in the local woodland that sits conveniently near to the nursery.

Park Wood Private Day Nursery even has its own beehive where the bees make honey for our porridge. The children sometimes have this for their breakfast as part of our nutritionally balanced seasonal menu.
