Butterflies Private Day Nursery in Prenton provides exceptional childcare and early years learning for children aged 0-5.

When your child joins Butterflies Nursery, they won’t just be introduced to literacy, ICT and maths, they’ll be cooking, gardening and dancing their way to becoming a confident learner.

Fantastic Nursery in Birkenhead

Butterflies Nursery Prenton is based in a beautiful converted Victorian property that provides a bright and inspirational learning environment, with lots of exciting resources.  We’re located on a lovely quiet residential street, just a short walk away from Oxton and Claughton.

Our nursery has two fantastic outdoor areas.  We provide a large grassy outdoor environment with an enormous pirate ship, play houses, growing patches and a soft play area.  We also have a sheltered outdoor area, so your child can enjoy the fresh air whatever the weather!

Delicious and healthy homemade food

Healthy bodies make happy children!  That’s why our seasonal menu is absolutely bursting with fresh fruit, meat, fish and vegetables. All of our nutritionally balanced meals and snacks are freshly prepared in the nursery kitchen by our brilliant chef.  Because our meals are prepared from scratch, we can cater for any special dietary requirements your little one might have.

Working with you to provide the very best for your child

At Butterflies Nursery Prenton we’re firm believers in building strong relationships with parents and carers.  That way, we can all work together to give your child the best possible start at home and at nursery.  To facilitate this, we provide online learning journals, parents’ evenings and regular chats with your child’s key person.

We’re like a big family at our nursery, and we would absolutely love to welcome you and your child to be a part of it. We believe nursery should be a home from home!
