Be a Superhero and Help Edie

The staff at Park Wood Nursery have had the devastating news that one of their little girls, a 3-year-old named Edie, has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. Her family now need to raise £300,000 to pay for a special type of treatment that is only available in Mexico. 

Edie is an amazing little girl who is funny, feisty and kind-hearted. She loves chocolate, puppies and her superhero, Spiderman, as well as her mummy, daddy, brother and sister.

Edie has an inoperable brain tumour

Following a series of severe headaches, doctors have recently diagnosed Edie with DIPG; a rare brain tumour that occurs in children.

Because the tumour is in the centre of this beautiful little girl’s brain, doctors are unable to remove it. Unfortunately, neither chemotherapy or radiotherapy would be effective in saving her life.

Help us raise funds for Edie

The family’s only option is to fly to Mexico so Edie can undergo a special form of treatment that has proven to be effective there. Her parents Ashleigh and Stephen are trying to raise £300,000 as quickly as possible to give their daughter a chance.

Hundreds of people have donated money towards Edie’s treatment already, but because the treatment is so expensive there is still along way to go.
