Just Childcare – Lawful Basis for Processing Data
You have given consent for us to process your personal data and that of your child, for the purpose of delivering our childcare service to you. The Just Childcare registration form, which you have signed, forms the contract between Just Childcare and yourself, and the processing of your data is necessary for Just Childcare to comply with its legal obligations as defined by the Children’s Act, Ofsted and the EYFS Framework.
Information Just Childcare Collects
We collect information so that we can provide the best possible childcare for you and your child. Most of what is considered to be your personal data is collected directly from you when you:
- Place an enquiry with us, either to one of our nurseries, or Head Office
- Arrange to view one of our nurseries
- Complete a registration form to place your child in our care

Cookies on our website allows Just Childcare to track your browsing behaviour, links clicked, your device type, and to collect various data, including analytics, about how you use and interact with Just Childcare. This allows us to provide you with more relevant product offerings, a better experience on our site, and to collect, analyse and improve the performance of our childcare services.
Information about Usage and Performance of Just Childcare Services is automatically collected by our Connect Childcare system, which is provided by our third party processor, Connect Childcare Ltd. GDPR compliance in respect of Connect Childcare has been verified and is available for inspection should you so wish.
Additional Data may be obtained about you from other sources, such as DBS, credit check agencies, etc. Just Childcare may combine this data with existing information held about you so that we can update and analyse the accuracy of our records, and provide products and services that may be of interest to you. If you provide us personal information about others, or if others give us your information, we will only use that information for the specific reason for which it was provided to us.
How Just Childcare Uses Information
We strongly believe in both minimising the data we collect and limiting its use and purpose to only that:
- for which we have been given permission
- as necessary to deliver the childcare services you purchase

We collect various information relating to your purchase and use of Just Childcare services. We use this data to:

Much of the data collected is statistical data about how our childcare services are used, and is not linked to any personal data, but where use of personal data is evident, Just Childcare handles this with care.

Just Childcare shares your personal data within the Company to staff who require access to carry out their duties, with third party processing partners and with trusted third party service providers as necessary for them to perform services on our behalf, such as:

We only share your personal data as necessary for any third party to provide the services as requested or as needed on our behalf. Retention of Personal Data
Just Childcare will not retain your personal data any longer than is necessary to provide our services to you, and no longer than the statutory limits as set out in the GDPR, or in the event that you instruct the Company to delete /destroy the personal data about you that it holds.

Just Childcare does not transfer any data abroad.
