A fun, stimulating environment

Set in a former school building, our Stonehouse nursery in Leyland features large, spacious playrooms packed with exciting areas and inspiring activities that encourage and inspire learning and development.

Physical activities both indoors and outdoors are a big part of each day at our nursery. With one of the largest outdoor nursery play areas in the area (and possibly the North West!) we encourage all our children to get outside, explore and have fun.

Whether it’s digging in our very own fruit and vegetable garden or learning about habitats in our huge natural park land area, we aim to create precious memories for our little learners as we prepare them for their next adventure at primary school.

Delicious healthy food

All of our meals and snacks are cooked in the nursery kitchen by our chef, using fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. Our menu is varied and absolutely delicious, providing our little ones with a nutritionally balanced diet.

To encourage a love of healthy food, we also involve our children in food preparation. We’ll teach your little one to grow their own fruit and vegetables, make healthy meals and serve themselves healthy portions!

Working together with you

We work hard to build strong relationships with our parents to help give our children the best possible start.  One of the ways we do this is by giving you access to your child’s very own online learning journal. This easy-to-use resource gives you valuable insights into your child’s learning and development journey through nursery. Equally as important, we’re always available for daily chats about your little one’s progress.

We have created a new Parent Room which we will be filing with all parent top tips, information on what the local area has to offer to both parents/carers and children.
